Terms and Conditions

These terms cover purchases from TheEdgeMile.com. Buying from the store or booking consulting means you accept them. They are written in plain English on purpose.

Products and Descriptions

We sell new, used, and refurbished equipment, software, and services. Condition is stated on each product page. Used and refurbished gear is bench-tested before shipping, and what we tested is described in the listing. If a listing contains an obvious error in price or description, we may cancel the order and refund you in full rather than honor the error.

Payment

Payments are processed by Stripe at checkout. Orders ship after payment clears. For freight-class items, someone from our team may contact you to arrange delivery details before anything moves.

Shipping

Parcel items ship via standard carriers. Freight-class items are handled through our freight partner as described on the Shipping page. Title and risk of loss pass to you on delivery. Inspect freight on arrival and note any damage on the delivery receipt before signing.

Warranty and Returns

Warranty terms are stated on each product page and vary by item. If equipment arrives dead, damaged, or materially not as described, contact josh@theedgemile.com within 7 days of delivery and we will repair, replace, or refund. Do not return anything without contacting us first; unauthorized returns may be refused. Consulting hours and remote conversion services are non-refundable once performed.

Firmware and Software Downloads

Firmware images we host are unofficial mirrors provided free as a courtesy, with published checksums. They come with no warranty of any kind. You are responsible for verifying checksums, for flashing at your own risk, and for operating your radios legally, including holding a valid SAS grant where required.

Regulatory Compliance

You are responsible for operating purchased equipment in compliance with FCC rules, including Part 96 for CBRS. We can help you get registered as part of consulting, but the license and the grant are yours.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability for any claim related to a purchase is limited to the amount you paid for the item in question. We are not liable for indirect or consequential damages, including lost revenue from network downtime.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Alabama. Any dispute will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Alabama.

Changes

We may update these terms; the version posted at the time of your order applies to that order.
